The Block and Bridle Club is an animal science club promoting a higher scholastic standard and more complete understanding of animal science among its student members. Each year the club hosts several events, including the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo.

Intercollegiate Judging Teams
Livestock Judging Team
The UGA Livestock Team participates in livestock judging events across the country. UGA's livestock judging program teaches students how to carefully analyze animals and measure them against a standard commonly accepted as being ideal. If you are interested in being on the team, contact Dylan Davis and enroll in ADSC 3210-Livestock Evaluation and Selection.

Meat Judging Team
The UGA Meat Judging Team enhances student education by providing hands-on experience in the evaluation of beef, sheep, and lamb carcasses, and wholesale cuts from the carcasses, for the determination of meat quality and value.

American Society of Animal Science Academic Quadrathlon Team
The Academic Quadrathlon is a competition held at the local, regional and national levels. Teams of four are made up of university undergraduate students. Winning teams move up to the next level of competition. The national winning team is determined at the American Society of Animal Science national meeting in July.
