Dairy Science Club UGA

Our club's advisor is Dr. Jillian Bohlen. The purpose of the University of Georgia Dairy Science Club is:

  • to function as a student organization, endorse its participation, and foster loyalty to the organization
  • to increase awareness and interest of students in the Dairy industry
  • to supply members with an opportunity for hands-on cattle experience through organization activities and show team
  • to build bonds amongst student members interested in the dairy industry as a hobby or as a career
  • to professionally represent the University of Georgia Teaching Dairy Farm at local and state shows through the exhibition of University of Georgia reared dairy animals

The Block and Bridle Club is an animal science club that promotes a higher scholastic standard and a more complete understanding of animal science. The Block and Bridle Club also hosts the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo! Yee Haw Ya'll for the club members and advisors, Dr. Kari Turner and Dr. Todd Callaway.

UGA Cattlemen's Association Club

The mission of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association is to unite cattle producers to advance the economic, political, and social interests of Georgia's own cattle industry. The Georgia Cattlemen's Association has two great advisors, Dr. Alex Stelzleni and Dr. Pedro Fontes. This wonderful group is involved in activities from here all the way to Perry, GA. Join them for some fun!
