UGA Commercial Dairy Heifer Show

Recently, the UGA Dairy Science Club hosted the 27^th Annual UGA Commercial Dairy Heifer Show. This event takes months to plan — everything from seeking sponsorships and ribbons, creating the perfect t-shirt, and locating judges. Our club is proud to do it all as a service to the young people in Georgia.

This year we had 139 heifers and 124 youth exhibitors from FFA and 4-H. Not only do these students get to show off their prize animals, but they also have the opportunity to take showmanship classes, participate in a practice judging contest, and share fellowship at the exhibitor’s dinner.  

It was an amazing show and ADS is so proud of the Dairy Science Club for hosting a wonderful community event. We can’t wait until next year.
