H.B. Henderson Trust Scholarship

This year’s Herbert Henderson Scholarship recipient is Jenna Hargett.  Jenna is finishing up her first year in Animal and Dairy Science. Jenna’s activities and accomplishments include:

• UGA Dairy Science Club
• UGA Block and Bridle
• UGA Pre-vet Club
• Chick-fil-A Leader Academy (High School)
• FFA (High School Chapter President and Reporter)
• Chapter and State FFA Degree Recipient

Additionally, Jenna has won several awards through FFA and was also the Area 3 winner for Livestock Evaluation. She currently works for the UGA Teaching Dairy. She would like to attend veterinary school with a focus on food animals to one day contribute to the health and welfare of livestock in rural areas.
